Anyone know how to reprogramme the remote key on a mk4 fiesta? The battery has run out. I've checked the owners manual and it says to take it to fords to be done. would rather do it myself to save queing up at my local main dealer on saturday.
Not sure if it works with the MK4 Fiesta, but try this:
Put the key in the ignition barrel Turn the key from 0 to II position quickly until you hear a chime Press any button on the fob and you should hear the chime again Key is now programmed.
