Ford Ka

I have a problem with the wifes Ford Ka,the rear lights and the speedo panel
light will not work.Tried the fuses and checked through the loom cannot see any probs.Any body got any ideas?

we had a long term lease one a few years ago, and I think the connectors in the boot lid jammed up/burnt out

it's possible i'm thinking of another car though

Seen this on Escorts happens all the time, the contacts inside the stalk burn out.
I have not seen this on a Ka before but the stalk is the same design.

also, everyone else is probably right about the stalks burning out, try cleaning the contacts first though, they might just be a bit manky
