Focus ST abs light

A.b.s light on 07 st is on, plugged diagnostics in, fault code - fr speed sensor fault.Changed sensor, reset fault code drive car 5 yards light back on. All wiring ok, any ideas?

fr-front? One each side? Check brake light switch as well as that can cause all kinds of weird things if stuck on!!!

dodgy ecu?
debris or damage to the ring inside the hub (iirc they use a hall effect to determine speed)?

on a different note - what diags did you use?

and like many times i have used a kts 650 diagnostic equipment on a 54 plate galaxy, that told me it was fr when changed the light came on again, try chaning the other side thats what i had to do

Ok im using mac scan version 12, reset faults and unplugged n/s sensor, fault code came up fl as it should so i think diagnostics pretty good. Also eng man light comes on and code reads no speed sensor input? And milage reading shows blank. Gonna change osf wheel bearing complete with hub so will let you know.

Could you not take it to a dealer and get it fixed under warranty?

Unless ofcourse you are from a 'local' garage and a customer has come to you with the car, if so I apologise.

No its my car. Changed bearing and all is now fine.

why didnt you take it to the dealer as you are in warranty?
