Currently got a 58 plate Focus downstairs, thanks to £200 and Avis. Went to top the bad boy up with some motion lotion, but, lo!, no fuel cap. Is this Avis being crap and losing bits off a two week old car, or do new diesel Focii do without fuel caps?

I ask as a car I had a few weeks ago didn't have a fuel cap either and a colleague thought this occurrence was weird. The other car might have been a Peugeot 308, but I really can't remember.

Probably the new easy-fuel cap, my dads 08 Cmax has one though.

no they dont have a fuel cap because ford have changed their design so that it is now supposedly impossible to fill up with the wrong fuel. so is prob a money saver not making two different types of petrol cap.
