mondeo st24 water leak!!!!

Hi chaps,please could you lot give me any help?

99 st24,just gone out to it and theres a puddle of water under it.

I cant see exactly where its coming from, but seems to be dripping behind the engine.

It`s pure water(no antifreeze) the car doesn`t overheat so dont think it`s coolant.

Is it aircon? It drips out quicker with it on.

Cant get the car onto a ramp because i`m off on holiday tomorrow.

It`s dripping just infront of the flexi pipe on the exhaust.

Any ideas chaps?Any aircon pipes there?

it could be aircon, look in your owners manual, i believe the air con can come on even if you have it switched off inside, its something to do with when you put the heaters in the car on to windscreen it kicks in to help demist and that

It might be the aircon but that would only do it if you have had it on, the st24 was known for the pipes to come off the screen washer bottle so might be that.

From what I remember, the washer bottle is at the front of the car at the drivers side, rather than behind the engine. Aircon would be my suspicion too (if fitted).

I think the air con drain is there, however this could be an exhaust leak-water is a by product of combustion! I know when i fitted a new Y pipe mine leaked for a while then sealed itself up.
