1.6 misfire?

hi all, a friend of mine has a misfire on his 1.6 zetec-s focus, its a 99 (v) reg, we have changed coil pack, leads and spark plugs and still does not make any difference. on idle its fine but as soon as you try to pull off it misses really bad. any suggestions greatly received.
