i've had another look the earth does seem ok, interestingly the problem only occours when the main beam is switched on, when the side lights are on everything works fine, but when main beam is on there is no wipers and no nearside headlamp or indicators.i'm just wondering is there any part of the electrics where the wipers, indicators headlights my be connected or close to each other(maybe wires touching or dampness causing a short circuit) or is there a relay that controls all or some of these electrics

you would have a relay for the lights, a seperate one for the indicators, a seperate one for the wipers, only place the wires would be close is in the fusebox i would have thought, sorry cant be much help, good luck and lets us know how it goes
