Changing N/S headlight bulb on Focus!
Discussion
Just that really!!
Anyone who has tried it will know what I mean.
Car is an 03 1.6 Zetec. Passenger side dip beam bulb. Who designed it such that the weather proof cover on the back cannot be removed without first removing either the wheel arch liner and the light unit, or the battery!
I gather it is easier on some variants, but not this one.

Yeah I swapped the bulbs on my previous car (03 plate ST170) for the super-bright sort (the non HID ones) and I found it best to remove the N/S front headlight unit.
On the MK2 Focus (In this case an ST) you need to remove the headlight unit completely to change any of the bulbs, as there is a cross member behind them. So to do a roadside emergency swap you need 2 sizes of Torx drivers (not sure on the sizes though), and a long screwdriver to push one of the clips down at the back of the unit, A pain really.
