Bit of a long shot, but i'm after a Ford 6006 stereo, the 1st gen one with the volume knob on the left.

My ST170 came with some ridiculous flip-out DVD screen thing which has gone straight on eBay.

I'd like to return it to standard, so if anyone has one that they want rid of, please email me.

Thanks.

And yes, i have looked on eBay, but thought i'd try here too.

I've got one, shame you are so far away. Last time I posted it to someone the mechanism jammed in the post - I had to unjam it and give him a refund.

That'd be great, I work in Runcorn, so not far from there.

Is this the 6cd changer mate, built into the dash?

Did you manage to get one yet? I have one from my Focus Ebony which i changed for an aftermarket unit in my younger days, but have kept it.

If you still need one then you can let me know?

Beefy, I've got a Ford Blaupunkt MP3 thing collecting dust that I'm going to put on eBay shortly. So if it floats your boat, drop me a line.

yes

Should connect up to the steering column remote too, and a CD changer if you have one installed.

If you're interested I'll take some photos of the back of the unit for you.

That would be great, cheers. Also, do you have the model number? It should be in the top somewhere. I have a few mates who work at Ford and Visteon so they'll be able to advise me of compatability more...

Thanks

Butting into your thread hope you don't mind, I have been offered the newer 6006 with bluetooth as a straight swap for the 6000 in my fiesta (also later model with bluetooth) will it just be a straight pop the system out and re-connect the plugs job?

Right, few snaps with the compact - apologies for poor lighting, handheld etc, but you get the idea.

Beefy decided it's not for him (he got a real bargain elesewhere) so if anyone fancies this, I'll take £100 for it. If no interest by the end of the week, it'll be on eBay.
