W reg mondeo st24

hi guys looking into getting a mondeo st24 thus meaning getting rid of the beloved focus, just after afew pointers as to fuel econemy etc, and how expensive they are to run, all info on these is gratefully appreicated

Well i bought mine to go to lemans in,and i`ve still got it!

Didn`t really know much about them tbh but i really rate mine.
Not done any calculations regarding mpg but i think i do around 25/26 going to work and back(15 mile)
Theres a lot of dogs around though so be careful.
I may be persuaded to part with mine at the right price.(fancy a st220 or a rx8 next)

99 on a "v",55k,a few owners though.
ffsh,new metal water pump,st200 twin duplex exhaust.

Other than the exhaust it`s never been messed around with,original paint/panels etc.
It drives a good as the day it left the factory!

Lee, cheers for your input, was looking forward to it but had a crash in the focus this morning so it looks like my no claims is gonna go now, very peeeeeed, gotta get this sorted and see what insurance is gonna be like, might have to wait till i get a new job now

I had an ST200, so look at my profile for rough costs. If you can stretch to the ST200 over the ST24, it's worth the extra.

Just got an ST200 taking into account I have only had it 2 days but talk about smooth and comfy very impressed got some bits to sort namely the A/C system but other than that it is loverly to drive proper long haul motor
