There are a couple of electrical problems that have developed on my Mk.2 Mondeo which I'm sure ought to be simple enough to solve when I get round to having a look at them.

First is the beam height adjuster. On one lamp the motor runs continuously once the sidelights are switched on, although the adjuster still works properly.

Second is the central locking. Often, but not always, when unlocking just the driver's door (using the button on the key) after a few seconds the other doors unlock. On the occasions the other doors don't unlock, they tend to after a few minutes of driving and at various intervals whilst driving they sometimes attempt to unlock again. On two occasions whilst driving all the doors have locked. There's no locking/unlocking while the car's locked.

I suspect damp or poor connections behind both problems but if there are any known faults it would save me time investigating.

Not sure about the headlight issue, but i have the same locking issues you have on my Mk3 estate, i've only had the car since April and didn't notice the problem until it started getting a bit colder (Ocbober) so i presume it's down to poor conections, i'm waiting until the summer to see if the issue goes away before i start trying to fix it. (I hate taking interior trim off, never seems to go back on right!)
