Question for Sierra XR4x4 owners
Discussion
A triangular piece of foam insulation has come loose from under my bonnet. I assume that it must stand vertically on the passenger side between the plastic rain grating (on which the windscreen wipers and washers are mounted) and the metal gutter beneath, and has a cutout for the rear screen washer pipe to pass through. The question is - exactly where should it be fitted, and should it be glued in place? Can someone please have a look under their bonnet. My car is a 1989 2.9 EFI, thanks.
Only just read the post.
I`ve got ya bud, it took a while to figure out which bit you meant.
Theres only one way really for it to go, right on the end, behind the bonnet seal, with the pipe running through the cut out facing front, wedged under the plastic grill not glued.
