No advice other than DO IT. It should be awesome.

Get yourself over to passionford.com They might be able to offer more advice.

its not the doing it thats the problem its getting all the bits together, all the info on capri conversions are about later cars. totally different under the bonnet to mine.

Have a look at Caprisport - they've put the 24v into a MK1, amongst others. I'm hoping to get my MK2 Granada done this summer!

The Capri below has a dynoed 500bhp/500ft-lb & holds the Capri Topspeed record at 180.1mph at Bruntingthorpe 2008. It is a fine example of the Capri/Cossie conversion, the engine built by M.A.Developments.

that must be quite a beast, i only want 300 bhp as i want a daily driver. although the whole plan may get shelved , as the engine i have looks like its f**ked totally, possibly cracked head and block.

The V6 should fit as they did a MK1 3 litre, also is the V6 not shorter than an I4?.

the v6 cars have a longer under bonnet area as the radiator is up against the slam panel, mine has radiator support panels which move the rad back by a good 12 inches,
