Mk3 Mondeo electric window

The one touch operation for the drivers side window on my 2001 mondeo had stopped working, this function was fine up until last week and still works when lowering the window, has anyone got any idea as to what component could be at fault?

Did your battery go flat or get unplugged? You need to "reset" the one-touch windows after removing the battery.

If it's not going up automatically... Then once it's down, press and hold the up button until it gets all the way to the top, and keep holding it for 5 seconds. Then let go and press it again and hold for another 5 seconds.

If that doesn't fix it - you might have a dodgy switch, unfortunately fairly common...

The battery hasnt been drained but i tried the reset trick anyway and it seems to have fixed it.
