My (useless!) friend has a L reg Escort RS2000 which he left rotting on the edge of his drive for a year! Now he's finally decided it's time to drag it out and get it going but as soon as he connects the battery the alarm goes off, does anyone know how to reset this?
First point of call would be to test the connections on the alarm module for moisture/oxidisation, then check the voltages from the sensor inputs. Maybe it triggers if the battery voltage goes too low too?
