Hello All,

Now I know this is probably completely obvious and staring me staright in the face and I feel like a berk for asking...

52 Plate Focus 2.0 Petrol. Basically core plug had corroded but in order to change it required clutch, gearbox, flywheel etc to be dropped. Didn't have the money so instead have done a temporary fix with Engine Sealant for now until money situation picks up.

In order to do this as I'm sure many will know requires bleeding of the entire coolant system, topping up, bleeding again etc etc. I did all this myself and the leak is now fixed however the Air Con will not work. I can switch it on but no cool air just luke warm. Heater controls without Air Con work fine with regards to heating/cooling the interior. I'm alittle confused by this and not 100% sure where to even start in order to correct the problem.

Any ideas as to what could be wrong be very much appreciated.

Thanks

Are you sure the AC has gas in it?

It was working fine before the coolant bleed, so assume the Gas should still be ok and at the right level. In all honesty though I really don't know... Is this something I can check myself?
