Hi,
I have a rattling cat on my focus and have hardly any power i have been told this is because the honeycomb filter in the cat has broken down and will clog up causing the car to loose power and eventually stop the car going altogether!

Is this correct any suggestions please

Also im thinking of replacing the cat with a 200 cell sports cat!!

dont forget to change the lambda sensor aswell, the main reason the internals of a cat break down is because the lambda is not switching properly usually leaving the car to run richer than normal, which uses more fuel and does the cat in
