I use to sit slightly laid back (but not like a chav) and was very comfortable, but a friend convinced me to sit more upright and truth be told I'm glad he did as I have so much more control over the car.

The problem is my lower back was hurting, I've tried playing with the lumbar support but that just made it worse. Now I can't seem to get comfortable in any position without my lower back caving in within a few minutes.

I had a 400 mile journey to do last weekend and it was a right pig. Anyone got any suggestions? Tried the Recaro website for advice but no luck.

Cheers

Hi
My dad was a fire fighter for 25 years and was left with a bad back from years of carrying the breathing apparateus. Every time he changes car he suffers with back pain until the muscles in the back get used to the new seat.

I would imagine after a couple of weeks you to will be more comfortable and the bad back will have calmed down.

Hope this helps
