st200 bottom end rebuild

does anyone know were I can get hold of a set of big end and mains bolts for a duratec v6 i cant reuse the old ones as they are strech bolts
ford will only sell me a short block

I have got everything else I need for the rebuild

I may be way off but Quickco? Ford Parts? I used to get all manner of engine bolts for a CVH engine there... Had most in stock. (Trafford branch)

No idea if they would stock parts for an ST200 engine. That said, was the bottom end any different to the standard V6 engine?

(And if they do stock them, they should be available from any Ford parts desk.)

Ford stopped selling these parts ages ago-try some Ford parts dealers in the USA. The SVT Contour uses basically the same engine.

thanks guys I have found a solution to the problem
the mains will be replaced with new zetec head bolts as they are the same length and thread (thank you ford)
the big ends will be replaced with high tensile cap screws
hope that helps anyone else who had a problem
