Mk2 RS Focus

Have my UG focus for 4 weeks now and loving it, but the window is creaking at the top of the door, left it with ford and they tell me its what i cleaned it with, Bull S##t!!!!! has any one had this concern and had it sorted out as its doing my head in.

I had the same problem and having posted it on the RS owners forum it seems common.

I coated the door seal (gasket) and the frame seal with grease and sprayed the window surround with WD40 and its not made a sqeek since, Ive since leaned that Mr sheen or a silicone spray will do the job without all the mess, so if it needs re doing I'll give that a go.

I'm sure this will solve it,, and yes it drove me bonkers to

You can buy silicon spray from Halfrauds .. for door rubbers.

It lubricates them.

my focus st has several rattles and noises. its the 1 thing that really p*sses me off about the car. i want to know how to stop them

Its as above. You need to soften the rubber up again. Its just the door seal has dried up.

With my window open an inch or 2 - it clatters over pot holes..

Does everyone have this ?
