Hi all, I have an early Focus 4 stud and some aftermarket wheels from a Cosworth that I want to fit, the Cosworth's are 5 stud, can I use a 5 stud hub off a later focus? Will it be a straight swap or is there an alternative I could use to make my life easier??.. I need the 5 stud as it is integral to the wheel design.. Any help would be greatly appreciated...

do you know the pcd of the wheels ?
if I am correct they are from a granada cossy (only cossy I can think of with 5 stud) and are 5x112
but the focus hubs are 5x108 so that wont help galaxy hubs are the same pcd so if you can get them to fit ???

hope that gets you a bit closer to fitting the wheels smile

A friend looked into this a while back on his ST170 - no easy/cheap way at that time.

What Cosworth?

Sierra and Escorts were all four stud I thought.

Not sure if this is the solution but spied these recently.

Fast car mag July 2007..P.37
H&R TRAK+ wheel spacers...You can alter the PCD & safely fit incorrect PCD alloys on your hubs.

I'm pretty sure the pcd on the new 5 stud wheel is 108, I'm going to measure them again today to be sure.. I vaguely remember the guy telling they were off a Sierra Cosi.. Thanks for you responses...

The wheels must be from a Granada Cosworth as ALL other Cosworth wheels, Escort/Sierra were 4 stud. No cheap or easy way of converting.

Hi

If you really are that desperate to use them, drill the hubs.

I had a friend who did this with FRS and they where fine...

Aside from having custom hubs made, i would get another set of wheels.
