Ka Steering

Hi all

I have owned a Ka now since December 2008, and when i bought it, the steering was a bit dodgy, the bearing was worn, meaning the steering turned half a turn without actually moving the wheels.

I got a new bearing fitted, and it is now doing the same thing again, but not as bad. I dont know if this is a common fault with the cars?

Mine is a standard Ka from 1996.

Any help would be much appreciated.

It's common for the lower steering column UJ to wear, and cause uneven steering effort, if thats any help.
