Focus RS & iPhone

To all new Focus RS owners, who opted for the Voice, BlueTooth & iPod preparation:

I've just ordered my RS and have ticked the box for Voice, BT & iPod... I have an iPhone (original version) and was wondering how good the integration is? Info on the web is a little scant (from what I've found) and am curious to know what I can expect.

To be fair I'm not too fussed on the voice bit, but I'd like to think that BT handsfree will be decent via the stereo (& steering wheel controls?). I'm also curious to know how good the music interface is over the USB as I use the phone as my primary iPod too.

Any first hand opinions wanted!

I've connected my C905 via bluetooth, found music quality is 1st class & an I-pod via the aux connection is superb too. The voice control is very easy to use, esp when driving, use it more than i thought i would! I have the lux pack 2 with sat nav, hope thats of some help!

Cheers for the feedback Graham, knowing the car can crawl in music from a smart-device is some comfort as it demonstrates an element of intelligence. Would still be nice to hear from an iPhone user tho'....

That said, the USB sounds pretty useful and I'd expect to connect via that most of the time to benefit from car charging too.

I'm sticking with Lux 1 as I've no need for Sat Nav (and I'm watching the pennies!!).

Not sure if it's helps as I have an ST and a Iphone 3G. Both sync and work a treat together with the Sony HU

That's deffinately a good indication, thanks I also have an ST-2 (which will become wifey's car when the RS arrives), but never had the BT options, so wasn't sure how good the integration was.
