Street Ka Misting Rear lights

Any thoughts on how to cure the above.I gather its a common fault,I spent Half an Hour drying the lights with a Hair Dryer and then sealed the outer edge with Silicone only for the problem to re-occour 2days later.I am reluctant to but a new light if the problem is going to come back!
