Focus ST spark plugs

Hi,

My friend has just had his focus st serviced at a ford main dealer and was charged the best part of £70 for spark plugs. This seemed quite expensive to me. Is it a normal price?

They retail at £11 each IIRC, plus VAT. You can find them much cheaper, Ford only box up Beru plugs and sell them for twice as much.

Sounds right - Just looked at the bill for the last service I had where they were changed and they were charged at 12 sheets each plus VAT.
Quite possibly over the top but as long as the overall bill is ballpark sensible, I don't tend to look at what's on it. I just do the paying & be done TBH.
