Expected life of a TDCi?
Discussion
My workhorse Mk3 Mondeo has just ticked over 100k, and I'm putting some thought into whether it's time to replace or just continue with it. It's the 130bhp one, and has had a fairly interesting life. Flywheel was replaced at 67k, injectors at 70k, aux drive belt and pulley was just done although these seem to last around 40k before rattling themselves to pieces
I've seen some taxi's with well over 200k on them, but never got any answers as to whether they needed new turbos, how many flywheels, whether the chain is suspect etc
Anyone run one over 150k without it costing the earth? Bearing in mind they're getting towards £2/£3k in value there's going to be a point where it's just not economical to fix it soon

Hi all, i sold my old focus tddi with 210k on the clock, serviced every 10k relaced, cat, starter, clutch and fly wheel, and a belt tensioner.
My current focus is a tdci, that needs a belt tensioner, and thats it at the mo, and its on 158k with open end air filter and tuning box, never misses a beat.
