Unfortunately not in a position to buy a new RS but I am considering an earlier 03 RS. I've owned a 147 GTA for over two years and its a great car but I like to change cars every 2-3 years so now thinking of an RS. Always liked the look of them and from what I can gather they are as equally capable as they are flawed just like the gta. Would be interested to hear RS owners opinions, especially opinions on the handling. Is it good out of the box so to speak or does it need some essential mods? I had to upgrade the shocks and springs on the gta to get the handling is desperately needed. Thanks! smile

Best place for that sort of information is the Mk1 Focus RS section of the RS Owners Club forum via the link below smile

How do you find the ride? A number of reviews I have read said the ride is very harsh. No problem with that as this car is for track and road but got to live with it at the same time.
