1.6 focus slow pulling off when air con is running

any one got any ideas why this happens it can be quite dangerous at times when you forget the aircon is on and go to pull out and there is no power i could push it out faster

also it can stall the engine when driving ie coming up to a roundabout gear down and the engine dies and you have to try wrestle the car round the roundabout

one thing i did notice yesterday when i was changing the air filter i had to remove the battrey cover to get at a stubborn screw that the battrey looks reall small i had a new engine put in last year and never really looked at it but you can see it was been swopped as you can see where the old battrey was

can any one shed any light or power on this please

Aircon puts quite a load on small engines, just use more revs.

no its more than that the engine allmost dies thats with your foot flat to the floor

Try putting a new full size battery in, seems the most obvoius solution, although has the problem suddenly started or has it always done this since the new engine?

it has been doing it for a while didnt really use the aircon when i got the new engine as it was winter im gonna have a run around and try find a bigger battrey and take it from there just wondered if it was the aircon pump
