Wheel bearing replacement

Hi
Im restoring a mk3 Fiesta RS Turbo and have just dismantled the fron hub from the spindle carrier. I had a bit of a job getting the old bearings out and in the end they broke to pieces. Im not bothered as I was going to replace them with new items anyway.
My question is how easy/difficult is it to put the new bearings in? I know your meant to use a special press. When I get the new ones is it self explanitory which way round they go and where?
