3.0 Essex

Hi guys, I have a 3.0 Essex in a Scimitar GTE, and are doing a few mods to make it more reliable. Firstly, I have bought an electric fuel pump, but it is best to fit a secondary fuel pressure regulator near the carb (apparently it has one built in, not sure what pressure it is set at and its not adjustable). What fuel pressure should it be set to? Also, I want to get rid of the points, what is the best type of electronic ignition kit for the 3.0 essex? Cheers.

I have an Essex 3000 in mny Capri it has an auto choke fitted , back in the 80s ,
