Hi Neil,

Forge are the only ones I think mate. Are you still running via the boost solenoid with your hybrid or are you now connected direct? If connected direct you can specify the Forge actuator with a blue spring, or yellow if you are using a boost controller or standard setup. Here's the spec I've been given previously:

Blue or yellow spring
90mm rod length(straight)not bent
No bracket
6mm inlet pipe(to prevent leaks)
7.6mm rod end

Btw, my turbo appears to be on its way out so will possibly be looking to go the TT hybrid route like yourself.

Edited to add, places like SCC or AmD Essex can order Forge actuators in to the correct spec if you don't want the hassle of dealing with Forge direct.

Ok thanks mate will try that route, yes im running my actuator direct. As soon as the hybrid was fitted the standard system just couldnt cope and it overboosted all over the place even with the Dreamscience.
The tt option was a good choice imo as its not very laggy but pulls very well at the top end.
The only thing i would suggest is if your fitting it yourself (which is easy)then order new bolts for the turbo from Ford (4 allen type bolts) as i had a problem with mine snapping shortly after fitting which was a real pain.

Right all done forge actuator with a blue spring. It now boosts a lot stronger and holds 1.4 all the up to the redline so is lots of fun to drive again smile
Hopefully going on the rollers on wed to find out if its gonna go bang laugh

Well it made 280 bhp with 240 at the wheels but turns out my boost gauge lies and im only holding 1.2 bar of boost so theres more to come spin

I've noticed at all RR / hub dyno sessions I've been to with FRS lads that the boost shown on the dyno print outs is always about 1.5 - 2.0 psi down on a boost gauge reading (mine being an autometers Ford gauge - thought that would be accurate to better than 1 psi)

Well at 1.6 and all seems well, traction can be 'difficult' biglaugh but she feels very strong and it holds the boost right up to 5.5k revs in 5th gear then tails off to around 1.3-1.4evil on a private rd of course smile although not sure how much the cold weather is helping at the mo.
