Can you fit a tow bar to a mk1 Focus RS?

Just wondering - wouldn't be towing anything heavy, just my motorbike to trackdays - can you fit one to the RS ok?

Yes i believe you can as i remember there was an FRS for sale at a dealer and someone on the RSOC forum posted pics of it, although i think it was a couple of years ago.

From memory of the pics i think the only downside to fitting one was that the middle of the rear bumper had been cut to get the towbar to fit

i don't think you can without cutting up the rear bumper as said before. dont do that tho!

I had a mate with a tow bar on his mk1 RS years ago, to avoid cutting the bumper, he got a standard focus tow bar, then took to a metal fabricator / welder, who cut & re-welded a U bend on to clear under the bumper, cost him about £50 & an easy job to do, as long as you say, its just for towing light stuff!
