ive recently purchased a sapphire cosworth on a 91 plate,the car is mint with a stage 1 tune,i went out for a blast today and i noticed a lot of juddering under heavy braking!!can anyone tell me if theres a problem please and roughly how much it would cost

sounds like ur discs are bent use a dial gauage to check the runout
new pair and it will be solved

mite aswell if a set of pads to

had the same problem with my old sapp

thanks dan much appreciated,im gona check the track rod ends,top and bottom ball joints and anti roll bar bushes first tho mate,i found a decent set of disks and yellow stuff pads on ebay for around the 180 quid mark.

Yes, check the bushes! At one point my XR4x4 had juddering under braking, and quite a lot of wobble at around 60-80mph. Tracking / wheel balancing had little effect. Then it failed the MoT on ARB bushes and I had them replaced with uprated ones. Result - no more wobble!
