This seems to be the best all round (size, insurance, decent drice etc) for my missus' first car. Couple of questions...
can it be remappped/tuned easily for a bit more oomph? Not too much, just a bit for my enjoyment!
should I be worried about 80K + mileages?
Is £5k reasonable for such a car?
Is it worth going to a main stealer for warranties etc and paying a bit more?
Any buying tips? Spec to have, 'must have' options?

Thanks for the help in advance guys.
smile

I had a Focus Zetec 1.6 TDCi hire car with 115k on it, it drove so well I had to ask the dealer if it had had new suspension or any repairs, it hadn't (although I did feel the rear wheel bearing was on its way out). To add, recently I was in an identical taxi with over 120k on it, again it was smooth as silk. If my ST220 drives half as well when it reaches 120k miles I'll be very happy.

A remap should see an extra 35bhp.

Better drive than the petrol would you think?

I'd say it was better than the petrol equivalent in terms of "real world" performance, but ultimately the petrols offer greater refinement, fun and reliability.
