HAD THE RECALL WORK CARRIED OUT ON MY CAR TODAY (IHAD A EARLY CAR, APRILL)NEW BUMPER AND UNDERSHIELD FIXINGS PLUS A REFRESH OFF THE ECU TO "IMPROVE DRIVABILTY" TO QUOTE FORD.
DOES ANY ONE KNOW WHAT THE REASON FOR THE REFESH IS

with the st it was generally to update the ecu an stop tuners getting remaps improved usually made them drive better

Have no idea, but since having mine done, it pops & bangs from the exhaust like a good 'un! Hehe! Maybe just coincidence?

Improve driveability by mainly ironing out mid-range hesitation that some people were experiencing (described almost like a boost cut at 3000rpm) and also uneven/hesitant response on part throttle.
