Which model of Focus are you looking at using the Bluefin on?

Both my diesel Focus's had Bluefin on them and it makes an immense difference. I wouldn't fit one to a n/a petrol engine though. Never driven one but can't see it making much difference for the money!

I was driving alongside the Wiltshire van of Superchips last week and it certainly tempted me to have my 2.0L TDI Golf chipped, especially when the van pulled away from me on the motorway like I was looking for parking.

I'd suggest that only turbo diesel or turbocharged petrol engines (ie. the Volvo engined ST or RS) would benefit from a 'chip' or remap. Certainaly from the Focus range.

From reading some of your other posts (and correct me if i'm wrong), you sound young and very keen. My suggestion would be to keep a standard or lightly modded car for a few years and save save save for something that's got a decent base to work from or is a good, decent and quick car from the outset.

The fastest car I had until the age of 25 was a 1.4 Fiesta, by then I could not only afford to buy, but I could afford to run, maintan and lightly mod my current ST.

I was 25, there are people out there who own Lambo's at that age with a little luck and a lot of hard work. Nothing's impossible.

Insurance is in the region of £600 a year fully comp, give or take a few quid, with Admiral. That's with 3 years no claims and it being kept off road at a decent postcode.

The only downside is its £60 a week super unleaded habit...

How old are you and what's your budget?

PS, and i'm not trying to be rude, English will get a lot more helpful replies than txt spk.

it would be very unlikely that you would get 11bhp just out of a chip coz every engine is different. i know a few people had bluefin and they had nothing but trouble with them. ford engines dont realy seem to like chips unless there tdci engines.
