look for rust, rear arches, sills, the area where the glass boot lid meets its aperture, front wing where stones are thrown up from the front tyre. They pretty much all have rust in these places now unless theyve bee incredibly well looked after or have had it fixed.
Yeah as someone else said, check carefully for rust as Pumas get it quite bad. I wouldn't buy one without checking underneath, inside wheel arches, etc.
yeah pretty easy, just check the usual spots, rear arches, sills etc. Mines a 51 plate and has rust, the 02 cars are the same age as the 51 plates, they were just registered later as manufacturing had already stopped in 2001.
apparently the rear arches are a water trap, theres a guy on pumapeople who took off the rear door cards and waxoiled the insides of the arches, that apparently did the trick although he did it before the rust appeared.
