Fiesta ST

I have just found out my Polo has been written off and am hoping now to be able to spend £7000 on my next car. I have opted for an ST as I took one out not too long ago and thought it was a good laugh. Wondering if you guys can advise me on the best places to look, pros and cons, what to get/not to get etc etc. Thanks

I bought mine for 8k in march last year with 6000miles on the clock mint condition 07 plate from allen ford as they offered me 4.5k for my 55plate zetec so I snapped their hands off...

You should be able to pick up an 07 57 plate for 6500 7000 privately.
I originally wanted no stripes but still haven't managed to pluck up the courage and get then removed.
End of this month honest!

Only problem i had was the rear calipers seazing.

I had one with 5k on it 56/07...needs a 6th gear,motorways are a nightmare! My gearbox blew up,diff blew up....rattles all over the shop,use loads of oil also I loved mine,IMHO good car,cheap to insure but get one with a warranty!

I found them decent to drive, but just not quick enough. Also the wheels are too big! cough*182*cough

Wheels are definately not too big....just needs dropping on a set of eibachs then looks top notch

And really a french car??
