Anyone seen the todays Auto Express mag today?
Got an interesting article about the ltd edition run out Focus RS & the new shape Focus RS.

Auto Express says:

"The 500 unit Clubsport RS will be finished in blue/white, will arrive before the end of the year, priced at £35,000, 350bhp, lightweight racing seats, lowered & stiffened suspension & sticky tyres, stripped out interior.
Should sprint from 0-60 in 5 secs!

The new RS, will have a 2.0 EcoBoost engine producing 300bhp mated to a hybrid 4wd system with the engine driving the front wheels & an electric motor driving the rears."

Now i know this is Auto Express & it could all turn out to be rubbish, but thought it made interesting reading!!

Theres also a test of the new Golf R against the RS.

In fast ford is says about Focus RS Mk3
But in Evo it says there is bascially no hint of it being built as theres not even a 3door prototype

Are you talking about an advance on the MK2 RS?
I don't think they would too be honest too many already upgraded about 350bhp

There was rumour on the RS forum I believe of an RS500, similar concept to the previous ST500. 500 RS's with Black exterior and Black/Green interior I think, more power and a few limited edition extras.

However the Auto Express story would be a lot more interesting...if it is true.

As they are struggling to sell the current Mk11 FRS - I cannot see them developing the MK3 FRS unless they want a lose making perfermance car. Oh no .. those days are long gone.

Limited run to get rid of existing stock .. sure.
