Honestly, how good are the Escort RS Turbo's?

Which are you looking at/for?

I've looked at about 75+ Series 1's these last six months, some priced up to 10k and I haven't found a decent one yet.

Wow, thanks...I didn't realise that the RST's were that bad, I know they tend to break down a lot. I was looking at either the seris 1 or 2, so from about 1975 to about 1986-87

You'll do well to find a 1975 RS turbo,Ford didn't sell them until 1984.Best to try and find a series 2 as the series 1 is becoming rarer now and far more expensive.Unless of course you have lots of pennies to spend.
