Ford Fusion Problems rattling after journey
Discussion
Hey guys, my friends having problems with his ford fusion, its a 1.4 54 plate
after a journey on the motorway it will start to rattle and shakes the drivers side, i cant work out what it is, the revs are perfectly normal on idle
it also does it around 80-90mph
at first i thought it needed a rear wheel balance(the steering wheel is solid at speed so i dont think it would be a front wheel balance) but when it done it on idle i was confused.
on second thoughts it could be that it needs a rear wheel balancing and the shaking is another issue.
Thanks for any help.

For what it costs, I would have all the wheels balanced. It is amazing how vibration can be transmitted through the car. Get it up on the ramps and have the suspension bushes checked too. When I first got my XR4x4, it had an annoying front wheel vibration at 65-85 mph, which it seems most of them did! Replacing the lower bushes with uprated items totally cured it, and much improved steering feel at all speeds.
