Poor MPG on Ford Ka

Fill tank to neck, drive a certain length, refill tank to neck. Work out MPG from that.

Around town you will get horrible economy, once you hit motorway then you'll get better mileage. I get sub-20mpg on my 1.1 mile commute, but nearly 40mpg on long trips during the day.

As said brim the tank and do a few days of your normal driving and see how you get on, ours is managing 40-45 on a 30 mile daily commute and at least 35 in town.
