Sat Nav question

Have just bought a '59 plate RS with sat nav, the woman, (who sounds bloody awful) counts down in KM instead of miles, is this right or is there a way of changing it.

came on the site today with this exact question!! Any ideas folks? Is it a continent Sat Nav unit - seems odd that you would not be able to change it to miles.

If you go into the settings menu you can toggle between metric and imperial, still don't like her voice though.
