Fiesta ST for Focus ST170?

Can anyone tell me what 'real world' fuel consumption they are getting from a Fiesta ST.
Just recently bought a Focus ST170 and it is a disaster (especially on fuel), massively preferred my Puma, such a fun little car.
Thought I wanted a larger car, but I think I'd rather go back to something smaller and more communicative, are they reasonably fun to drive and are they really all that noisy ay motorway speeds?

St170 is a lot more thirsty than anything else at that power level but a very good car in its own right.
The Fiesta ST feels a little more sharp to turn in and more direct when you're in town but the Focus will flow much more effectively once up to speed and once you have the hang of the power delivery and how far you can take the chassis its addictive and more forgiving than the Fiestas. You also won't tire of the focus over rough roads where the fiesta can loosen fillings if youre driving over s
te roads.
Then again the engine in the Focus has hardly any scope for upgrades with only 15-20 horses easily accesible, the Fiesta can easily be made to give 200ish in a lighter (slightly) body without going to forced induction.
