Hi
I'm building a TVR S2 with a granny cossy 24v and I think I will not be able to use the type 9 box that I have. I'm looking at a T5 and either mod the bellhousing or fit an adapter plate - anyone have any info? - once I'm sure of the info I will need a box - apart from the 2wd cossy was this box fitted to any other vehicles?

The Borg Warner / Tremec T5 became standard fitment on TVRs from around 1994/1995 so the specialist breakers ought to be able to help. Try Douglas Valley Breakers or Bell Hill Garage.

IIRC the T5 was fitted to the Sierra Cosworth, and the 24v was only available with an auto.

A popular option for 24v conversions is the MT75 - 2wd versions for the Cologne are rare, but are out there.
