Anyone know which Ford had 25 spline 100mm Lobro CVs?
Discussion
I am struggling to find replacement CVs for my 1991 Marcos which has a Ford IRS - it would help if I could work out which Ford has these joints. 100mm bolt on Lobros, 25 spline 27mm diam shaft (same both ends of shaft). I think its a Sierra 4x4 or Sapphire, and will have disk brakes, but beyond that have no idea. If I could identify a single car model and year that has exactly these then it might help.

These are rear drive shaft CV joints that are located on each end of the shaft by a couple of circlips. The inside of the CV joints is 25 spline, and so (of course) is the outside of the drive shaft that they fit on. I have no idea what the splines are in the rear wheel hub, the wheel hubs are fine so I am not dismantling them - they are disk type hubs. I have just unbolted the CVs via the Torx either end and removed the problem driveshaft complete - and it ain't well ! One end is sloppy, and the other end is notchy and stiff - even though the grease is perfect. But they have done 25,000 miles, so maybe that not too bad.
