Thinking of replacing the ST220

I've had my ST220 for over 4 years now, which is a new record for me. The car is in pretty good shape, having done only 40,000 miles. I need to get some stuff sorted out on it (the wheels need refurbishing, because the paint finish is bubbling up and flaking off), but it's been a very satisfactory car to own. I'm just getting bored.

I can't imagine I'm going to get much more than £7K for it, even with all the lovelies like touchscreen nav and red leather. So the question is, what am I going to replace it with? I could go completely nuts and buy a 2002 Audi S8, or I could dig into my savings and maybe scrape £10K for a similar-aged M5. Anyone got any thoughts? Whatever I get, it has to be at least as rapid as the Mondeo.

I'll send you some pics when I'm ready to sell (won't be for a few weeks yet) so you get first refusal.

Do you mean the biturbo RS4? They're looking a bit old now, aren't they? Also, if the turbos go, your fooked.

Nah i meant the V8 I know a guy who has just changed his 220 for one. I'd need much deeper pockets to consider a V8 right now, especially one with big bills for known suspension problems!!

LOL, if I could afford one, there'd be no need for any discussion. I have about £10,000 to spend, depending on how much I get for my Mondeo.

I'm huntin high and low for an ST220 at the moment.

Not sure If I'm a fan of the red leather yet though or I'd ask for second refusal. LOL
