Fiesta 6000 CD

Afternoon,

I have a facelift Fiesta 55 plate. It has this cd player fitted, single cd. http://www.stevelarkins.freeuk.com/images/ford_600...

I tried to play a burned cd the other day, it says checking cd and then spits it out, tried a commercial cd and same problem, manual says could be anything.

Anybody else had this problem or a quick fix? just a dirty laser or maybe a new one?

Try a cd cleaner disk!

Will give that a go, have read elsewhere is usually a knackered laser, fingers crossed.

Even if it is a knackered laser, you can get Sony lasers on Fleabay for £3!
