Focus ST3 - Fitting an Auto Dim Mirror - HELP

Hi all,

Ive recently purchased an auto dimming mirror off eBay to fit to my Focus ST3 2007 (Non auto wipers). Its from a 2001 - 2003 Mondeo so the mounting bracket is the same as mine.



All I need to confirm is, what wires do I join the 2 from the mirror to in the back of my submarine light ?



Was going to join black to black for the earth then green/red (mirror) to the yellow/brown (sub light).





These are the 2 wires i'd join too /\

The mirror will work when the side lights are on and hence the submarine light is on.
