Ford Racing Puma - What Are They Like ?
Discussion
I remember when these were launched - to quite a fanfare - hand built by Tickford.
But, 10 years old now, and never quite achieved the kudos that might have been expected, and prices are now in the £5-6k area.
So, what are they like? Ownership? Performance? FWD Handling? Driveability?
Any good, or just an old Ford?

I changed my 1.4 puma for a FRP 2 years ago now.I absoultely love it its not the fastest car in a straight line but nippy enough, through the bends is where it really comes alive.
You can now no longer get FRP specific parts from Ford they where all sold off end of March. Most remaining stock is now held by Pumabuild. Body panels is where the real expense can be. Front bumper is £1000 unpainted and there are only a few left, wings are about £800 each.
Front calipers need servicing every year or so as the Alcons don't have any dust seals. One of the members on pumapeople do most of FRP's.
There are of course better cars out there but one of the reasons I got one was the exclusivity. 500 where build and now about 350 left, so you don't see many of them about.
